| as alot of you know my son can be a handfull so after battle to school this morning decided to dive to docks and try out new rod, Fox trek spin 9'6"(4 piece rod which is staying in car ) and de stress a bit, hes only going 1 hour a day at presentwell all i can say is the rods the dogs dangleys, very light and well balanced, although playing arround with reels now to find best balance(curently okuma dakar as i have 3 spools for it) cast a spinner well but too much weed then tried ledger with 1oz weight, well bite detection is fantastic and brought up severl good wrasse up too about 1lb, posting picture of really pretty one (ok prob smallest but was almost flouresent in morning sun) ![]() also hooked into what i can only believe was small conger so will return with bigger rod for that soon all in all a nice hour feel better now and darts tonight(mmm may just have tio have a pint as well ) dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives |
