Daiwa-Cormaran reel issues

Hi,

Got a reel for my birthday a year or two back. The first time I used I found a fault with the abidextrous handle (screw was too short), so it went back to the tackle shop and was fixed. Went fishing a few weeks back, put the reel on my rod and undid the clutch to feed the line through my rings and it just span and span, even with the clutch on full. I've had it too long to take back to the shop, will I have any joy going to Daiwa, any ideas what's wrong, only used it 5 times max and certainly don't abuse my reels?!?!

Thanks.

PS: I used it after it was fixed the first time so it wasn't the shops fault.

Cormaran are a German company that was bought by Diawa to make up their budget end of the market. I am not sure if you will get much joy from Diawa.

Excellent, thanks, I'll have a look tonight and see what I can see, if not I'll give Daiwa a ring, they shout about their customer service on their website!
