| Very sad - but good post , rocks a very dangerous , never ever go alone know your tides and check the weather report I find that if I have never fished a rock mark before I make sure that I do my homework by talking to local fishermen and the tackle shop I also make sure I have a safe escape route out Also I always tell people were and when I am fishing including what time I will be back this way if I get in to trouble then someone knows were I am Watch the waves at all times Have a mobile with you as its a great way of getting help __________________ Richard|Sea Fishing |Carp Fishing| Spud Gun | Zander fishing | Fishing Reports | Hunting Reports |

| Re: The dangers of fishing from rocks wouldn't hurt to wear a life jacket, or flotation suit too.. Sounds to me like the sea conditions weren't too good for fishing from the rocks aswell, very sad news... My tip is, if it's too rough or dangerous to fish - THERE'S ALWAYS TOMORROW! never ever take chances, especially for a fish! |
