Drop net mate!!! a very large one two!! we have three nets down the pier and when the hounds are there its very hard to get hold of one and it has been known to have to swing them!! my mate swung one of 11lb last year! must be mad i would never do that with my rods!! doubles your rod over but unless you want to lose your gear plus a good fish you somtimes have no choice!!! |

Yer we have our club hut on the pier and we have keys to it so when we need it we just go there!! quite handy! well very handy infact cause i've seen a few fish that would of been lost if it wernt for us being down there! we even had a key for the pier for a while to which was a big advantage!! |

| Re: bait netting... I understand the whole drop net thing for crabs and prawns but surely the nets u cast are for catching sandeels and stuff. anyone used one? Is it less hassle than buying them? __________________ born to fish....forced to work |
