Need a ID on a fish

Hi. We caught this one in LI over the weekend. I thought it was a Bluefish but the teeth were different. It was greenish/blue-grey the top half of the fish and the bottom half was white. When looking from the top the fish had a "V" shaped stripe. Anyone know what type of fish this is? Is it edible? I have a link for the picture below. Thanks in advance!

Looks a bit like a young Greater Amberjack to me - or possibly Almaco Jack

I see the similarities however, there also seems to be a number of differences between NYC's catch and the Amber Jack.
