I have been making me own rigs this summer for the first time and now that the winter is closing in Im about to tie a load of pulley rigs, flapper rigs and 2 up 1 down rigs. Can anyone please advise me of rough length of main rig for each of the above - or does the rig length / snood length not really matter. Is there any difference for shore and boat rigs ? Thanks for any help. __________________ So near yet so far - Wembley 2008 - Zideered Right Up !

Re: Rig Lengths ......... This is the lengths i use but people have different views on snood length,i think the main advice is dont make them too short,i always think its best to get the hook bait away from the rig body and main line. Flapper-15" Pulley or clip down paternoster24" 1 up 1 down 18" Portsmouth loop 18"-24" __________________ One day i will post a catch report again.

Re: Rig Lengths ......... its swings and roundabouts really i think you get more bites with longer snoods but conncect with more bites with short snoods just gotta play about with them though mate, i just make em whatever lentgh i fancy pulleys i always make long, sometimes upto about 5ft __________________ Bens The Name And Catchings The Game Anti the Anti's
