| Which rig with which bait for North Cornwall Bass? Help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. I've been reading and reading and reading this forum in readiness for my first proper weekend fishing aways in North Cornwall, hoping for bass but really will be happy to catch and return anything! Am a newbie to this sport having become hooked on holiday this year catching a few bass and a couple of beautiful looking rays from Mother Ivey Bay near Padstow. What I'm after knowing is if you had to use only one rig and one bait combination which would it be to target bass? I'll be beach fishing at Trebarwith which is a large sandy bay at low tide with some cracking ledges at high tide. All tips gratefully recieved. Thanks, Tony if it's bigger than your head don't eat it! |

| Pennel Pulley Rig size 3/0 or 4/0 with a smaller hook on the top pennel say 1 or 1/0. Never go bassing without whole Mackerel, squid or Peeler Crab. Rag and Squid Cocktails do it for me as well.... ![]() |
