I think that you should describe how you did it and what materials you used.

basicly i went to B&Q and brought my self some pipe clips and a 1m long lentgh of aluminium sheet (2cm wide)
off i went into the garage and measured out 20cm, 20cm and 30cm on the aluminum
into the vice it went and out came the juniour hack saw, i was left with 3 bits of aluminum (2x 20cm and 1 30cm)
the edges were rounded off using sand paper (150 i think but cant remember off the top of my head)
from each end i measured 1cm in, and 1cm in from the top, i then used a centre punch (hammer n big nail will do if no centre punch)
this left me with 3 bits of alumiinum with a little hole in the end of each 1
out came the trusty pillar drill and each hole was drilled through and then scraped out slightly with a larger drill bit (so the nuts n bolts sit nicely in it)
then the pipe clips were put in using stainless steel nuts bolts (2 nuts and a washer, or 1 washer and a self locking nut woould do) 2 nuts were used so the pipe clip could spin without lossening the nuts
on the longer section i also cut 3 groves for haning rigs and sanded them off as well
and there it was finished

do pipes (as in pipe-clips used in the leg-lock) come in any other profile?

I made my own leg locks using a bit of alloy tube & a couple of plastic pipe clips from a plumbers merchant. Works a treat.
