Bailing out.

I've got a bit of a problem with my fixed spool reel. I seems that the bail arm no longer wants to engage when I start the retreive, and I have to flip it over myself. Any suggestions?

cue spring bouncing all over my garage.....

Rich

Re: Bailing out.

That's the intention Ben, however I thought I'd learn a bit more about the actual process of catching fish first. You know, as in at least 1 this summer.

B***er.

Then, when I've mastered that (Ha.) I'll get myself a decent rod and reel. Maybe even a mutli, but it's pointless until I learn about fish and how to catch them.

<<Stupid question alert>>

Gullyworm, How do you mean you cut the bail arm off??? How do you retrieve your line without a bail arm?

Rich.

Re: Bailing out.

You leave the part that guides the line on,dont cut it all off ,it meens you have to put the line onto the bail by hand.
I got fed up of the thing flicking over mid cast when i used to use fixed spool.
