Question Hurst castle ?

Hi< I am trying to organise a days fishing for myself and my boss and would like to spin for bass/Mackerel,would also like to get some distance casting practive in with my beach rods.A friend has suggested Hurst castle but have been told it can get a bit risky if you want waid in to the water there so i wondered if any of you guys know were else we might go between Hurst Castle and Poole for spinning/fly fishing. Well waiding in hurst castle is a BIG NO

THe tides rip throught there and the reason people fish there is because its goes very deep very quickly mate

As for mackerel and bass from the shore on spinning well you might be very lucky and get a bass but the makerel are moved or moving out

Richard thanks for your warning,much appreciated,Any ideas regarding were to go for bass with a spinning rod or know someone who might have some tips ?

Well on hurst as you go over the embankment you will see a rock out crop were bass are taken

I may be wrong but this time of year bass are still about but mainly the bigger ones which means big baits like whole squid

I do not know the area much sorry
