Re: shore fishing competition?

Being a local I would go for an evening session with high water. At the moment Chesil is packed with fluff chuckers and foil bashers, especially at West Bex. WB is a better option than Abbotsbury as there have been quite a few cars being broken into and at least you can see the car from WB.

There are a few trigger fish coming in during the day time but these are only from the wrecks and rough ground. Better off fishing WB for bass, smuts and doggies in the dark. Portland Pirate gives good advice, no doubt he'll give his two penneth' worth soon. Beware of the submerged cable to the right of the car park at west bex, there's loads of lead stuck on it.

Count me in anyway, I have had a bad years fishing and can't even catch mack. I seem to spend my time losing lures at Portland Bill, maybe I should take up golf?
