| Red Mullet any good???? Hi, I was recently fishing Worbarrow Bay and caught what I now know was a Red Mullet. I have been fishing since about 5 years old but didn't have a clue what it was until I looked it up. I put it back because I was unsure how they are as table fish. Mine was about 12" long and a bit chunky, was it a good one and are the edible? Also had a Garfish for the first time on a spinner, gave me a tail walk and everything!     |

| Re: Red Mullet any good???? no idea what they taste like... you will have to ask the chefs on here but i reckon a 12 inch one is a nice sized red mullet... im not sure about up your way but one over a pound and a half is very rare nowadays down here __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think! |
