| down on luck.... hi im a newbie to sea fishing having done lots of course stuff as a lad. Im living now in guernsey and being surrounded by sea has inspired me to give it a go. ive been out 5 times now and have had only one bite that i missed! am i just being unlucky? i have to say only one of those times was an evening slot the rest being late morning, but i fished different states of tide in different marks using different baits (sandeel, squid strips and lures) float fishing, spinning and ledgering. any hints so i can get that elusive first fish and gain some confidence in what im doing??!!! thanks people. |

| Re: down on luck.... welcome, sure someone from area or who knows it will reply soon my advise is stick to one or two beaches whilst learning and get them right first(although every trip is a lesson), look in some of earlier posts for loads of advise as well, its where i learnt most going into dark scores best arround here at moment but all areas vary so just keep trying the fish will come __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives |
