Re: Time for a meet? SUGGESTIONS

Hi Guys.

Living within 100m of Chesil beach has its advantages. Like knowing when and where to fish. Chesil has a great reputation for producing a good number of quality fish and a large variety of species. However if you do not know the beach it can be a really hard venue. This is where I can help.

If someone is willing to do the arranging, then I am more than willing to help and I am sure that Elliot (Devon Born) will also help out.

The best months on Chesil are late August, all of September and October.
You have a chance of picking up Triggers, Wrasse, Pollock, Good Bass, loads of Garfish, Scad, Dabs, Plaice and Mullet (normally caught whilst fishing for Garfish. I have landed 6 between 3 and 7lb in a half hour mad session).

In Late September and into October you get a nice run of Smoothounds and some early codling.

If you want to target Triggers you have to fish daylight as they do not feed at night.

Being an owner of a local tackle shop I get up to date catch reports and know where is fishing for what.
If you want help to organise a Chesil trip let me know.
