Re: Time for a meet? SUGGESTIONS

Re: Time for a meet? SUGGESTIONS

Count me in boys, how about a long session, even over night in tents. I have seen guys staying on Chesil beach in tents. I don't think there is any charge but Pingu is the expert on that area I think he may know better.

Got a tent and some room in the car.

Overnighter sounds great. It'd have to be a weekender for me though unless there's enough notice so that I can book time off.

I've put a tent/beach buddy up overnight at various South coast locations and never been bothered. It seems that while camping is generally not allowed on beaches, stick a rod up in front of your tent and you can "fish" for as long as you like.

I've only been to chesil a couple of times, but I remember once seeing groups of anglers with several tents set up.

Re: Time for a meet? SUGGESTIONS

Myself would be unable to do an over night session but the meet sounds a great idea

Never fished chesil myself but have had quite a few bad reports from mates that have gone along the coast for matches there but i presume as they dont fish the venue that often they dont have the knoledge of the place and put it down to that! Seen and heard a bit about the wreck and the triger fish but iv heard its out of my casting range (what distance is that at ben?) id love to catch another triger one day but dont get many opportunies to do so!

Right i look forward to seeing the outcome of this thread and hopefully a good meet with lots af us catching will be the outcome

cheers

Ollie.
