How not to keep live sand Eels

After coming back from a bass session this morning i left the bucket of eels in the back yard only to be told later by my 2 and 3 year olds that the eels are now free in the swimming pool.
I couldnt catch then so i left them and they dyed.
So tip of the week is dont keep your eels in the swimming pool!

Re: How not to keep live sand Eels

S$%T.
To many spiders not enough bass, resorted to catching wrasse just to pass the time.
The bass are around though, speaking to a bloke who had an 8lb er on sat,and other lads who have had a few.
Current method seems to be live pollock or pout or a large chunk of fresh mackerel.I think sand eels are just to easy for the spiders to eat
Just remember ben if your going to buy a swimming pool for your live bait be sure to fill it with sea water and dont put chlorine in it
