Bass lure fishing rods

Although I do not often post a thread, I am an avid fan of this forum.

I am looking to buy a lure fishing rod and multiplier bait casting reel, any sugesstions as to what rod/reel combo is the best.

I don't want to spend a fortune and I also want to but it over the web.

Any points of view would be good.

p.s went to Dungeness last Thurs........RUBBISH !!!

Not just the fishing but the amount left on the beach....DISGUSTING !!!
