all you guys real dedication to drive all that distance ,living in cornwall i am never more than 25 miles from any of north or south coast. guess ime spoilt for choice ,but my catches dont reflect the great fishing there is in the area.as an irish friend once discribed me ime 5/8th of a p**s poor fisherman .cant really argue with that, but that does,nt lesson my enjoyment when ime fishing

We're fishermen...of course it counts if: 1 Your line got wet(say rain or sweat on your hands) & 2 If you touched a fish (or some form say stix&chips). If you crossed any bridges you were over the water, you just need to tell it right. LOL

ps I forgot about the round trip. I made 2400 miles to Idaho & back.

All that way to fish for a few hours and then drive back ?? Nahh.. do what i've done .. purchase a small shed on wheels (caravan) become a weekend jippo.. combine that with a deiso motor and your sorted..
