Re: South Wales Meet !

Depending on the dates, I'd be up for a meet.

Looking at the charts, there is a good strong set of spring tides (about 10 metres +) peaking on Sunday/Monday 21st/22nd August (perfect for a weekend session?). The evening high tides also coincide with sunset and to a lesser extent, sunrise. An even larger set of tides will occur a month later (equinoxal?) and will also coincide with sunset/sunrise. Ask yourselves - Can these be missed?

If the above were also accompanied/preceded by a good Atlantic Autumnal blow, would it not be criminal not to fish?

Re: South Wales Meet !

Tides are 12.8 metres, gonna limit where you can fish at high water especially, although does open up a good few posibilities for a good session around the slack water period.

I take your point. Would this also apply to Worms head and/or Burry Holmes? By 'slack water period', I assume you mean low tide?
