Re: Mustad Shrimp Feathers?

Hi Charlotte,

Shrimp feathers work well, but macci can ruin them as hooks are only light.

They're deadly for sandeels

John

Cool Re: Mustad Shrimp Feathers?

Up here in Bristol they are circa £1.79 per packet

But search the net to find the best price. Veals or Mainwarings etc.

me and POPLO used them a lot last year and they produced good results.
best results of late have been on a string of three large hokkai.

Re: Mustad Shrimp Feathers?

Is this one of the best ways to get yourself some live sandeel / launce then ?

I was hoping to try and get live sandeel this year but cant get them very often in Exmouth so was considering trawling a net for a 100 yards but if these are ok I may try them ?
