i really wish i hadnt asked! please buy the reel!! it would be a brilliant investment mate - you could chuck a sl30sh down a cliff and then climb down and use it for conger fishing straight afterwards! lol

Go for it, especially at that price.

They are fantastic reels. I have a 20 and a 30. Use them for most of my fishing, including uptiding and wrecking (using artificials).

I HAVE A SLOSH 20 WHICH IS A LITTLE NARROWER THAN THE 30, ITS A GOOD REEL IDEAL FOR HEAVY GROUND SUPERB RETRIEVE RATE, AS LONG AS YOU TUNE THE REEL PROPERLY IT WORKS A TREAT, BUT IF YOU HAVE SMALLISH HANDS YOU HAVE A PROBLEM GETTING YOUR THUMB SECURLEY OVER THE SPOOL WHEN CASTING. FOR DISTANCE CASTING OVER CLEAN GROUND I PREFER MY ABU C3 CT ELITE.
