well, the best news ive heard so far this year. There are sand eels in teignmouth and they have arrived in force, and with it the bass have started to be caught in the teign.

Hopefully whilst selling the eels tomorrow i can flick a rod out and see if i can bag myself a few bass

its great fun, working on a beach, in the water, fishing whenever i want. The sun, the sea, the sand, and the women. My binoculars are never far away!!

Its the pirks of working in a biat shop, i never have to buy bait. Collect my own peelers, dig my own lug/rag, and get every other bait under the sun free.

i wouldnt mind the chips but im no fish eater.

i think you get a slightly better deal there mate, you soon get sick of chips, although my chips are very good
