Angry budliegh last night

popped down for couple off hours last night, met steve mingo(hope youve masterered casting that rod now )
well not much too report apart from loads off algae in water although not as bad as when i drove past night before , and more dissapointingly the first spider crab of the year only small but they are back (best go buy some snood floats again)
then i baddy birdied 1 reel so decided pub was a good option

Re: budliegh last night

had a grotty day so needed too get out so went back to budliegh last night(sun) 7.30pm-11pm
quite a few others there(plenty spinning) saw nothing happen and lost 2 rigs too the crabs,
then at 10ish all hell broke loose !!, the doggies were everywhere, went absolutely mad for 1/2 hour with both rods nodding at times and baits only in water for seconds before being hit. then stopped dead again
great fun while it lasted must have hauled in about 10 -12 (all went back)

cracking night
dave

Nice one Dave, just a tip for you mate, if getting plagued by Spider crabs....use braid as your snoods, they'll never cut through it!
