| Chesil Herring and Mack Just to let everyone know that there are huge shoals of herring and mack on Chesil at the moment. It is very rare to see herring there and most of the locals have never seen them before. Hopefully the bass will be behind them. I am going to give it a go this week and will report back. | Re: Chesil Herring and Mack Herring were being caught at Berry Head a few weeks back too. Maybe they are starting to make their return to our waters, hope so as this should bring more predators chasing them! |

| Re: Chesil Herring and Mack Ive noticed herring have been in the bay for many a year now, mixed up between the mackerel, pilchards and sprats. The only method in which i have caught herring would be whilst feathering for mackerel. __________________ Nothing grows faster than a fish from when it bites until it gets away. |
