oh well, if its only spinning, i can go after school cos great thing is you dont have to go out and get bait from a shop.

Hey mate,

No problems having a meet. There are a few of us on here from and around Paignton.

Look forward to it.

Kiwi.

thanx.
i thinking of some themed meets like wrassing trips or such like that.
theme ideas include:
-light gear meet
-lure meet (spining/plugging etc)
-species specific, like wrasse or bass
-possibly even bait specific, eg who can catch best using just rag or mackie etc?

set up a different thread for this idea.

Re: Spinning ?

Regarding casting light spinners, you can use a water-filled film canister taped onto the line to help you get distance, it casts OK and doesn't sink and drag your spinner to the bottom like a lead does. Tape it on up-line of a swivel so it doesn't slide when you cast.
