this is a yann lure, i think.

i like a spinner i have that is just a simple silver meatal one with the top half painted flourescent orange and witha fake gold eye, picks up the biggest mackerel, much better than feathers.

another one i have seen used to good effect is this:

its called a ragot miralite

Re: Whats the Most successful lure?

Dexter Wedge's are good lures and as pinguprogress has said they really cast very well.
They will take most of the preditory fish, but seem to do very well on Mackerell and Bass.
I like to use Rapala xraps. They are the best casting off all the Rapala lures and come kitted out with salt water trebles. The design and finish is superb and they really outfish every other lure in my box.
They do vey well for Pollock and Bass. In particular the one that looks like a pout is fantastic for Bass in the surf of Chesil.
Rapala Fire Tigers in all styles do very well for Pollock just as it is getting dark. I prefer to use either the 9cm floating or the j11 as I do not lose as many.

Re: Whats the Most successful lure?

my box is full of rapala lures (they are the best i think) BUT i have been using
a (Strike pro) in the last few weeks and the fish cant leave it alone.
I still use spinners and spoons though as the old style lures always seems to work well

Re: Whats the Most successful lure?

I find that the new storm wildeye lures work really well for me, first started using them in hawai'i and have brought some over here and caught many pike and bass on them, the 2" shiners are good,
