| Hi, I have just moved to St Austell and am going to fulfill my ambition of going sea fishing and am going to try from the beach first. I have loads of questions!!!! I have been told that the beaches around Par are worth a try - if anyone can suggest anywhere better then I am open to suggestions. If Par is OK, what can I expect (or hope!!!!) to catch at this time of year? What baits should I be using? What methods should I be usng? Can anyone recommend a good tackle shop in the area? Sorry to bombard you all with questions. I have only just discovered this site and am still looking at alll the old posts. Regards Dave |

| Re: Newbie! Hi mate and welcome to the forum. Not sure what is around at the moment but in the summer, your neck of the woods produce Bass and Black Bream. These species have a long season down there. Kiwi. __________________ Kia ora / Dia dhuit. - Matauranga kei ana kaha.
