mullet glorious mullet

the river tawe is showing mullet early,it feels like christmas!!!! takes a while for them to get established,every day its in my head.cant take my eyes off the river am i weird? or is mullet fishing that adictive.

Glad you seeing some mullet up your local river mate....id say your not weird mate...cause as soon as i see them nr me that will be my mullet fishing year started...it does get very frustrating at times but all part of the fun! so yer id say its very addictive cant wait myself aint seen them yet this year or heard of any being caught but maybe in the next couple of weeks i'll get that first in the net! good luck when you start mate!

oooh why havent i seen any yet

hopefully they will be along soon as the mackeral have arrived (caught 11 today) and saw a large pod of dolphins 15+ so its all coming together

Anytime you want to meet up for a mullet session in the summer Ollie let me know, I want to catch my first one this year. I also want to try Tidemills for a golden mullet, would be great

most definatly mate......not a great river to fish my local but you get some good thick lips up there! had my bigest of 6 lb 8 a few years back which im aiming to beat soon! and thin lips mullet over newhaven river and im well up for tide mills mate! great place to bag up if you hit it on the right tide i look forward to it mate and lets hope you get your first of many soon!!
