| Hi Taffs and Tafettes. I've the chance to get a bit of fishing in on May 23rd in Penarth. I've not looked up the tide times yet, but if there are any of you Welsh anglers out there, or even an English angler who knows his stuff, what can I expect either in Penarth or around it. Unfortunately I wont be there long enough to fish after dark so I have to make do with the day time fishing. Any help would be gratefuly received. Cheers. Lee |

| Re: How do the Welsh do it?? hey sammy tides for the 23rd are:- AM HW 08.12 LW 00.53 PM HW 20.37 LW 14.20 give or take a few mins. as for the fishing id go along with what dars said although its a fairly big tide on the day you chose to visit. not sure if the smoothies are showing there yet either but you should get bass there pretty much all year round due to the warm water from the power station. there are parts of aberthaw that you arnt allowed to fish though as its a bass fishery, which is another reason they are always there for a little more info check this site out. all marks are within 20 mins drive aswell www.fiskies.me.uk hope this helps you out and catch a ![]() |
