| Re: Dogfish best tip I ever had was don't skin the fish - skin the fillets! worst tip I ever had involved nails, pliers and a wooden plank!!! ie using a really sharp knife fillet the fish pretty much as you would any round fish then skin the fillets with the knife too. best way to cook is then to cut into cubes, coat in crumbs of some sort and deep fry - really realy good and kids (used to chicken nuggets) seem to like them too. finally I think a fair amount of rock salmon was (unfortunately) spurdog and smoothhound. |
