| TSF casting tutorial this month I don't know if anyone noticed, but Barney Wright uses a tennis ball on the end of his line for the casting tutorial in this month's TSF. What a great idea, i thought I would have a go later at adapting a tennis ball, saves digging a 4oz lead out of a footy field  Rob     |

| Re: TSF casting tutorial this month Ben, the tennis ball is purely for practise purposes. He's not going for distance, so the ball wont hinder him at all. Plus, it'll simply bounce when it lands and wont damage anything if it did come adrift mid-cast. Do you cast mate?? |

| Re: TSF casting tutorial this month I have been using baseballs at my seminars and demonstrations for some years. All started off casting them at a baseball game at Camden Yard in Baltimore, USA. They weigh 5oz and fly perfectly. Got them over the home run wall from homeplate in front of 40,000 people. Makes a certain orifice pucker a tad! BB __________________ Neil Mackellow |
