Re: Ready to move on to Multiplier, but which one???

I started with a green mag elite, still have it and its a great bit of kit but I picked up an akios last year and think its a great reel for the money, its what the modern abu's should be

Re: Ready to move on to Multiplier, but which one???

slosh20 , 7ht even better . daiwa supercast 12/13' to match .. but then i would say that

sl30sh i use for wrecking for cod and pollack - 20 i use for dirty big smutts down selsey and hayling.
7ht mags and standard 7ht are best reels ive ever owned .

When buying a reel think about the sort of ground that you will be fishing over. If you will be fishing both clean and rough ground then go for a 525 mag. Fast retrieve and loads of winching power. Take a look on ebay if you dont want to part with "big" money but you may find a good deal on a new one if you look through the magazines and on the net.
