| Re: Abu reel servicing JJ when you say a service, what do you want doing to it as a basic service will take you about 10 mins to do yourself. Standard service is Just a case of stripping it back, cleaning and re-lubing. Really simple job that you can do yourself mate. Just need to give it a rinse under the tap to remove the grit/sand, drop the break blocks into lighter fluid to give them a clean and then put it all back together adding some rocket fuel to the bearings to mae it run sweet. | Re: Abu reel servicing OUCH!! My old metalwork teacher used to always say "Use one hand with these things , then you can pick your fingers up when you get it wrong." . He had a knack of getting the important stuff ovre in a way you'd remember, good teacher. Oh and he was from the "real" world not straight out of college. makes a difference I think. To stop me being accused of starting a flame war with teachers on the forum. I appreciate that people do a great job out of college too, it's just that I think if you teach a subject (take IT related skills for example), it helps if you see how it works for real . I am certainly not having a "go". For the record I doubt I would have the patiance to do the job, so teachers,on the whole, do have my respect. __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk |
