Been a good few years since I last saw one of them!
"Thing" would be an accurate description, horrible little buggers.

Main concern for them is the 2 spines coming out on the back of it's head.

Over my (long ago) younger years I remember a few deep hooked ones being dispatched by turning them on their back and applying a large amount of pressure with a foot......


Now just the thought of them has made me think again about heading back down to South Parade Pier.
