2011 Fishing highlights

Well as 2011 comes to a close i thought i would post my fishing highlights from the year.
Due to work commitments it will only be a short post
It was a poor year for me, mainly due to probably fishing less than i have done in the last 30 odd years.
I caught no decent fish from the shore and only managed to get out on my Yak a handfull of times managing a few Bass, the biggest about 5lb.
I also took my son Alex out a few times which i always enjoy, even though i do sometimes feel like pushing him in

The little @?$% even outfished me.

Probably the highlight for me would be Bream fishing about a mile off Braclklesham. It was non stop action with up to three being hooked at once.
The biggest went over3lb and on light gear they go like trains

Another decent catch was what i thouh was a load of weed and turned ou to be this, it was fun getting it into my kayak

This year i will be busy with the Olympics comming up, but i intend to fish a lot more and contribute some catch reports to the forum.

I hope everyone has a great Christmas and a Happy new year.
Good health and all he best to all

Cheers mate, i have to admit i've not done many fishing reports for a long time.
I used to go 2-3 times a week and love writing the reports, however work commitments have really taken over the last year or so.
This wouldn't be so bad but i don't get paid overtime

Anyway work can sod of in 2012

Just loaded my newly won on EBAY Mitchell 386 (the one i told Chaz about) with 18lb ULTIMA mono.
Off to Fuerte Ventura (costa caleta) new year eve - not really a sea angler but love to wet a line when on hol's, so i BUSK IT a bit, but usually my 40 odd year fresh water experience ses me thru'. (GETS YA' AWAY FROM THE WIFE FOR A FEW HOURS AS WELL)
Anyway - wishing ALL members a Very safe & happy christmas, & TIGHT LINES for 2012.
