Whiting for the table.

The NSFA state a minimum size of 27cm for keeping whiting, but I reckon that size don't really make a good meal. I tend to put them all back under 32 cm, if I bring them home any smaller, the missus says they ain't worth all the messing about to cook them. What size do other forum members reckon is a good size to take home? Kind regards.

same here ive had 1 or 2 27 cm ones but there just like happy shopper fish fingers, i tend to bring them home at about 30 that way wen ive got a few in the freezer i can make the kids a decent bit of fish and chips
