| Whiting for the table. The NSFA state a minimum size of 27cm for keeping whiting, but I reckon that size don't really make a good meal. I tend to put them all back under 32 cm, if I bring them home any smaller, the missus says they ain't worth all the messing about to cook them. | Re: Whiting for the table. same here ive had 1 or 2 27 cm ones but there just like happy shopper fish fingers, i tend to bring them home at about 30 that way wen ive got a few in the freezer i can make the kids a decent bit of fish and chips __________________ Fishing aint just a hobby....... Its a way of life Caught so far.....bass, cod, eels, conger eel, whiting, flounder, sole, Thornback Ray, spotty dog, a cold and crabs (not the itchy kind lol) |
