Thanks for this info. Its very interesting but i dont suppose they'll be much in the way of Fly fishing however, I would have though CARP would do well in the Sea of Galilee ?

because they are stainles steel spikes on the soles it sounds like a parade of squadies marching when your walking on concrete.... to get an idea push 35 drawing pins into the soles of your trainers and walk along the pavement..you'll get near enough the same sound

well, I've seen some nice catch of carp there. 3 major varieties of carp -
theres the farming carp that escaped the breeding pools, the grass carp, and sazan.

fly fishing is good for barbels and "Tilapia". but we're doing it a little different, with a very small fly, a 5rg lead and ultra-light spinning set.
