Cost of lead weights

Nearly fell over earlier when i went in the tackle shop


saw the price of 6oz gemini splash downs....£2.25 each...what a joke.

can't wait till namix bring out their version with an inbuilt imp clip....lead making session on the cards then...

normal 6oz namix were £1.90

at these prices i couldn't afford to fish 75% of the places i fish.....think i've gone through over 60 leads this year so far!!!!!

Put your ovaltine down ,and get down the tackle shop get some kits and bring em over then its only 90p a go to make splash downs .Knock out a dozen in half an hour ....

Or use a breakaway lead and impact shield , circa 25p lol.

That's it....I do just use a manic and a Genie bait clip. I buy them off a guy I know for 65p a throw..........which you don't mind launching them into the rough then.............but 1.90 - w.at is berserk......someone is making a lot of money out this

Funny that I just made over 200 namix leads and was wondering if there was any scope in selling them.
Will have to look at the postage costs.
