| Re: rig line Never really had a problem with it Chris i use it on various strengths of mono up to 150lb for conger traces. It's also very easy to undo if the snood gets damaged and needs replacing. __________________ Steve 2012 Species:Bass,Huss,SS Sea Scorpion,3B/Shore Rockling,Launce,Mackerel,Sand Goby,Sand Smelt,Pollack, Coalie,Conger |

| Re: rig line hi Chris Mikes right i use that memorex...brilliant stuff. I use 60lb and it is quite stiff but you won't get tangles with it. i use it for all my ray, smooth hound and congering using pulley rigs or up and overs with 3/0 or 4/0 pennels. i note your tying 2/0's to it which, in that case i'm sure your targeting something without the teeth or rubbing plates that make mincemeet of hook lengths...if that is the case i'd drop down to 40lb amnesia...again a stiffish hooklength which you won't get tangles with. i personally don't like stretchy leader/hooklength as it causes no end of problems with birdies for me...must be my dodgy casting style but ask mike i had a couple of sessions with casting rage when i swapped to that sakuma carp (typo)...... if you don't get on with the memorex....you know where to send it!!! john __________________ 2012 targets - 180 yard measured cast, 10lb bull huss, 12lb blonde, 10lb hound, 8lb small eyed, spotted ray any size |
