| Fish finder! Just wondering if anyone owns or has used one of these, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HAND-HELD-...item2a0ad289bf Got one given to me along with some rods, reels and a rucksack full of lures/ terminal tackle. A half decent 7HT in among the reels so that'l do nicely for a spare reel. Anyway point being are they any good? Wont have any use for it myself but dont want to chuck it if someone can make use of it from a yak or on a river/lake from a small boat. __________________ Steve 2012 Species:Bass,Huss,SS Sea Scorpion,3B/Shore Rockling,Launce,Mackerel,Sand Goby,Sand Smelt,Pollack, Coalie,Conger |

| Re: Fish finder! Difficult to know if these are any good and under what circumstances. All I can tell you is that I watched a lad lower one of these into a deepish lake locally. He had no fish images showing on the screen and while he 'played' with the thing he hooked a very nice 2lb tench! The bait couldn't have been more that a few yards from the sensor! Not sure what that means. Kind regards. __________________ Kissin' don't last! Fishin' do. |
