| DIY T Bar was looking on ebay and local shop for a tbar...about £15 i also have one of those gemini disgorgers that have a steel loop at the end......loads of people get on with them but when you are using big baits whipped on with lots of elastic like a couple of sandeel and squid, whole squid, or bluey/mackeral baits which are a pain in the neck to use a gemini disgorger with....so i took a hacksaw to it ...didn't realise that the steel is really quite good and took a write sawing. result is a very useable more traditional t-Bar for the cost of a gemini disgorger £6.00 or in this case using something that just lies in the bottom of my box as it was a load of carp and easier to pinch mike's!! ![]() ![]() ![]() __________________ 2012 targets - 180 yard measured cast, 10lb bull huss, 12lb blonde, 10lb hound, 8lb small eyed, spotted ray any size |

| Re: DIY T Bar only thing i find is that with the 'complete' loop , i can push a deep hook down even further to dislodge the point and free it ... on the boat we had a straight bar with a simple 'vee' out the end ... great for unhooking fish with a twist and a shake ..Im sure if i had two , i would probably incorporate your method tho mate __________________ Shore Species 2012: Dab-Flounder-Herring-L.S.Dogfish-Pouting-Shore Rockling-5 Bearded Rockling-Small Eyed Ray-Turbot-Whiting |
