Baitrunning Can anybody give me a definition of what it is when someone talks about 'baitrunning'... Is it a specific technique or is it just a word invented by manufacturer(s) to sell us more equipment? __________________ 2012 species: Whiting, LS Dogfish, Grey Mullet, Mackerel

Re: Baitrunning What context are you referring to? Shimano came up with the term "baitrunner" which was simply a reel with two drags, one that allowed a fish to take line when it ran with the bait that disengaged when the handle was turned.

Re: Baitrunning Thanks Bungz... That was exactly what I was referring to... I just wondered whether Shimano had just invented a new word! Thanks Steve __________________ 2012 species: Whiting, LS Dogfish, Grey Mullet, Mackerel
