| Cheap As Chips JUST GOT TO TELL YOU THIS. Most of you know,and like most others I tend to buy the best I can when it comes to rods ,reels and the like. However (said with a smile on me face) I had a trip to TRAGO MILLS.... oh No I hear you all say, but the Mrs wanted to go so to keep the piece I took her. Anyway I decided to have a look at the fishing tackle on the way out and had a look at some of the rods. Yeh you guessed it ....still crap.!!! But.....I saw this match rod with 3 different interchangeable tips,I think the rod was about 12" and to be honest it didnt look too bad, I looked for the price and I couldnt believe my eyes. The price was ..........................wait for it..................................£11.99!!!!!! I NEARLY COLLAPSED. What a bloody bargain,and before you all start passing rumours around that I brought it I would catagorically say that I DIDNT...But sitting back home here now I wish I did.. Can you image the fun you could have with a 1lb mackerel? The tips were super fine and to have 3 different ones was just brilliant. For the sake of £12 I recken it would have been worth a bash. Bugger it....I'm gonna get one just for the hell of it, if it lasts the first cast i'll be happy, if it dosent..I'll piss myself laughing for a week. | Re: Cheap As Chips yep fraid so...Got the R&T soccer teams down,got a full house of 1500 under 12's 14's and tonight we got the under 16's. Should be fun again. Only had 2 fights last night,its not the kids that cause the trouble its the bloody adults as per usual. Quite a long shift again tonight 5pm till 4am. |
