| casting distance well i went to the park today to measure my casts, was disappointing, in that i managed an average of 100 yds  , looked much further, so more practice required, would have liked to got 120/150, tried different weights, 4oz & 5oz, only slight improvements  .looks like a visit for some coaching  . __________________ good luck and tight lines chris lifes to short for animosity.     |

| Re: casting distance I know how you feel Chris, My casting isnt much better! Maybe one day I will have some lessons. Would be nice to get a line right out there. I still catch fish though. | Re: casting distance 100 plus with ease Chris,the beauty of the longer rod is that you get extra distance without extra effort.If I time it right and give it some wellie,I get 150yds just with an overhead thump! |
