Weedless Hooks for lures

Has anybody used these to any success, also has anybody decided to trial homemade jobs?
Looks fairly simple to do.

if you mean the hooks with weed guards, i use alot on canal, been ok so far

I was thinking about using them on my rapalas for lure fishing.
presume your doing the same?

I've never caught anything on a weedless treble hook. It seems the weedguards kill the action of the lure and get in the way if a fish bites. Weedless single-hooks and jigheads, on the other hand, work beautifully for soft plastic baits.

sorry i was useing the single weed guards, they are good, never seen the trble ones yet
