| You decide! I count myself very priveleged to have a number of Scotsmen among my circle of friends, and I can tell you that, contrary to the wide-held belief, they are not tight with money. Now, because I know that some people might disagree, here is a little story to convince you one way or the other: A scottish soldier from the 1st Highland Regiment is dressed in his full regalia; sporan, socks, tartan kilt, bagpipes - the full shebang. He walks into a chemist shop and goes up to the assistant. From deep within his sporan he produces a used, pre-war condom, thick enough to form the inner tube of a bike tyre. He draws himself up to full height, looks the assistant in the eye and asks, "Do ye repair those, Laddie?" The assistant picks it up, sees that it is split and says, "Yes, we could repair it but you'd do better to buy a new, modern thinner type that would only cost 5p more than the cost to repair this one." The soldier pauses to think for a moment, then picks the condom up and puts it back in his sporan and says, "I'll let ye know." Two weeks later, he returns and standing in front of the same assistant he drops the same old condom on the counter and says, "Right Laddie, decision made: the Regiment have decided to have it repaired."     |

| Re: You decide! Good story lol, I have one too. I recently visited my inlaws in Glasgow and on the way I decided to nip into one of the local bars. I orderd a pint of Guinnes and a shot of whiskey. "5p please" said the barman. "Bloody hell , thats cheap" I said to the barman. "Well", said the barman, "youve visited us on a special day , today is the 100th anniversary of the pubs opening so as a celebration all prices are the equivelent of what they were when we first opened". "Great" I said and preceded to sit down next to a bunch of locals. when I got talking to them I realised none of them had adrink. "How come none of you have a drink, do you realise its only 5p for a pint of guinnes and a shot of whiskey ?" "Aye lad we do , but were waiting for happy hour !" __________________ Species 2011..
