Going Deal Pier fishing for the first time

I am finally going fishing!! first time in my life, im acheiving something i have always wanted to do.
I went today to my local anglers, who assisted me with everything that i would need for tomorow, i will be going to the deal fishing pier.


Is the deal pier good? i was planning first to goto dover breakwater, but my angler convinced me that the deal would be better for me as its my first time.

Is that the best pier for me? i live in london, or is their any better that you guys would recommend?

Went guys, had a good day, i just wish i never went so early (8am) as all the waves an fishes started to appear after 1pm.
Ovarall had a decent catch, catching 12 reasonably sized makarels, so it was good.

would anyone recommend any more places? which is better for fishing then deal?
