| Re: Please remind me why I do this! why do any of us endure the things we have ?sat in mid december in a snow storm with no brolly because it blew away and snapped the chair anchor then hit a boat and ripped  for three hours, spilled my flask so not even a hot drink was to be had but i got a nice roach at the end of it and near hypothermia  , but it was a new experience fishing in snow we do what we do because its in our blood and maybe because were a little bit mental? __________________ give a man a fish and feed him for a day ,teach a man to fish and he will be gone for a week fishing is a discipline in the equality of men ,for all men are equal in the eyes of a fish |

| Re: Please remind me why I do this! It is worth every moment we get. I spent 5 hours on a busy beach the other day kids annoying me dogs running in the water etc etc (I was there first) so I decided to pack up before I vented my frustration on the darling kids and dogs when as I was putting my 1st rod away my second twitched for the first time all day.... 3 mins later I pulled in my dinner a beautiful bass!!! As I was sat tucking into my dinner it all made sence, we do it to eat good fish and to occasionally skip A heart beat as your rod goes |
