Re: Natural Arch (Torquay) Nice pic tj. Ive not fished there for ages, had my first conger from there. Did you know that the british record was taken from there back in 1967? I always remember cos the fish was 67 lb as well. I do a bit of photography in my spare time, not on a serious level but purley for my own pleasure. I took this a couple of months ago at chesil beach when I fished with Andy G, and the second pic is paignton pier.

Re: Natural Arch (Torquay) Fair play lovely photos mate - nothing better than being out fishing when the sun goes down and you get a view like that. __________________ So near yet so far - Wembley 2008 - Zideered Right Up !

Re: Natural Arch (Torquay) TJ you got to be up with the birds to get pics like that one of Paignton Pier, actually its easier in the winter months as the sun dosent rise till about 7.30am. You can however be bit clever and just under expose the image to make it darker, this also brings out the colours the eye cant see. Unfortunately the images when posted on here dont look that great as there always seems to be some blurring, I dont know why this is. The 2 images below were taken at pretty much the same time just with different exposures..see the difference. I also took some pics of the thunder storm last night and got 2 images of the lightning, there not great but ok for my first attempt. I'll post them later so you can see.

Re: Natural Arch (Torquay) Hi Si, Its a Fugi 602 zoom, it looks like an SLR. 3.1 effective pixels. 6.03 recorded pixels. It was about £500 3 years ago but you can get them for around £180 on ebay now.People rave about how many pixels they got but to be honest unless you want to print a picture the size of a bus then 3.0 million is ample. Check out the thread "PHOTOS" and see my some what poor attempt at lightening pics.
