| Sidmouth fishing Hi, is it just me that's catching nothing at the moment? I live in Sidmouth (which isn't the most productive of places at the best of times) and out of the last three sorties I've only picked up a couple of small maccies and these were well out and fairly deep. I went to Budleigh two nights ago to try somewhere else and the same there, plenty of people fishing but no fish! Where have they all gone, or is it just me? Gonna try at Jacobs Ladder tommorrow as high tide coincides with dusk, so hopefully it will be more productive. Has anyone caught anything in this neck of the woods recently (ie Branscombe, Beer, Budleigh)? - The sea seems barren! ![]() |

| Re: Sidmouth fishing Well done, nice to know someone is catching, even if it isn't that much for this time of year. I'm going to try for a few maccies tonight and then have a punt for a bass near the groynes at dusk. I've only ever caught one bass in front of the Bedford in Sidmouth, so fingers crossed. Tried Budleigh a few nights back spinning for 2 hours, nothing, and then ledgering for another hour - nothing but robbing spiders crabs. Good luck if you're out too. |
